My PhD was in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Alagoas/AL (2023) where I was part of the team of researchers at the Ichthyology and Conservation Laboratory in Penedo at the Federal University of Alagoas. My main line of research is conservation and management of tropical ecosystems, with an emphasis on small-scale, ecosystem-based coral reef fisheries in the Anthropocene, ecosystem services, local ecological knowledge, webs and trophic interactions. Master's degree in Plant Biology (2016) from the Federal University of Pernambuco, experience in Limnology, population ecology and aquatic communities in lentic continental ecosystems. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (2011) in the line of research in human ecology, environmental perception, and solid waste management. Skills in developing, executing and preparing technical reports, diagnoses in environmental licensing projects, surveying, measurement, monitoring and data analysis.
