This policy brief summarizes evidence of multiple benefits and replicable methods in integrating the ocean, climate change adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity and human rights.

Published as a case study, this policy brief summarizes evidence of multiple benefits and replicable methods in integrating the ocean, climate change adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity (ecosystem restoration) and human rights. This evidence and methods arise from the research carried out in Algoa Bay, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa by a multi-funded Algoa Bay project at Nelson Mandela University.  One Ocean Hub contributes researchers and funding to this project, as it supports integration of various scales and synergies across different ocean research projects.
